From February 20 to March 11, 2023, three-day seminars were held in Bishkek, Osh, and Issyk-Kul regions, the purpose of which was to form a methodological and expert base for designing, supporting, and developing digital, communication, and professional skills of young migrants.
More than 120 representatives of primary vocational education and VET lyceums took part in the seminar. At the end of the training, they received a certificate of successful completion of the seminar, and can also transfer knowledge at the local level already as mentors. Further, within the framework of the project, it will be possible to participate in seminars online. The project plans to attract participants from all over the country.
Within the framework of the seminar, the participants were divided into groups depending on the possession of digital skills. During the entire training period, they studied skills such as working on the electronic educational platform "AcademyInAQA", in which more than 600 people have already registered and are taking online courses, working with such software as Canva, Prezi, Powtoon, and text editors, presentations, and spreadsheets, as well as familiarized with the LMS (Learning Management), the possibilities of using ChatGPT (chatbot based on artificial intelligence) in the work of educational organizations and work with software to create test tasks, and passed the micro-course "Entrepreneurship". As a result of these seminars, the participants were certified according to the material they passed, and after passing the exam received a mentor certificate.
These seminars were held within the framework of the project "E-Quality" - Digital Education for Social and financial inclusion and Gender Equality", implemented with the financing of the external activity program of the European Union and the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic.
